They hope to have this light sometime the first quarter of 2006. Any dive shop that sells OMS products can order the light for you

These look like *External* battery lights as the pack for this light is rated at 8ah. With 8 hours runtime

I think you were looking at the wrong line in the specs - they do have lights with external packs, but this short cute light is powered by 6 non-rechargeable 123 cells, rated at 1.5Ah and 126 minutes runtime. WA does have a 10.2 volt ballast, and the datasheet shows the allowed 8w minimum output at 9v input, so they're probably running two sets of three 123s in parallel to get the two hour runtime.
I was wrong........Cool looking light.
Specs are wierd 18v 1.4ah in one column 1.5ah in another. 126 minutes runtime is nice. We get around 1:20 out of the 10.2v ballast WA List a 14.5v ballast but thats the highest voltage 10w they make.
