Thumbs up TRADE MADE "WTT - Mint L1-DB917-PRT"

I am considering trading this mint condition L1-DB917-PRT.

This is considered to be one of Don's finest mods - only about 20 of them,
using L1s laboriously bored out with great precision to hold 2 CR123s and accomodate the excellent PRT-module.

The DB917 powers the hand-picked T-bins (of U-bin brightness) to produce
a stunning beam with an excellent throw on high, and a very useful beam on low. (tint is nice and white to my eyes and bin is a TWOJ)

cy sold one of these for $320=00 a few months ago and if you search for the
thread there is a photo of this, which mine is very similar to.

(HA-L1 with matt-black PRT which matches the black rubber end of the 2-stage tail-cap and goes beautifully the HA of the L1)

I am running this on unprotected rechargeables and it works like a treat.

If you are interested in a trade, please PM me with what you have to offer.

I am interested in something of similar quality eg. KI LE, KIT, HDS-85,
or maybe a U-bin bare aluminium Mclux PD in mint condition.

I am only interested in tints that are as close to white as possible
with bright output, since this is what you would be receiving.

I will accept the offer that I like the best rather than the speed with which this is replied to

Good luck to both parties. Doug, this light is an absolute classic.

    Easilyled,
If things don't work out with Digdugg13 (hope they do for him), would you consider an outright sale?

    Aww, c'mon Led Zeppelin,

You cant just corner the market on ALL the coolest lights, you snag an SF3 Mc38, an Icarus TriLux Aleph head, now THIS! I must compliment your excellent taste, and join you in groveling for an outright sale offer. I too would be willing to buy it outright because I use my U85 too much and am still under the spellbind of my KI. Although I do have a splash anodize McLux PD that I'm struggling with myself to sell, but promised Photonfanatic first dibs if I could work up the nerve. I've got the sickness, and BAD at that!

    Lunarmodule,

I was very good for a while. You caught me in the midst of a relapse.
I too can't part with my KI-T, even for this beauty.

You on the other hand have three of the "wanted" list. You need only look in the mirror to find one having better taste and cooler lights than I.

I'm glad we share an appreciation, along with the others on this thread, for the finest customs created by the best modders. I hope that rare breed will continue to produce and offer to us aficionados.

Thanks for the kind words, LM!
