Finally after months and months of delays, problems and more delays Im happy to post this thread.

neocaw23.jpg

Details:

UCL protecting lens, IMS17 reflector, lux3 bin TW0J emitter, Badboy Negtgen 750mA, one Quebracho Wood Skin and one Plastic semitransparent Skin, material is phosphorous brass, no CR123 battery included.

Body is not knurled, I have some knurled bodies, but Im not happy with the knurling, if you can live with some imperfections these are also ready to go.

[added 1/12/06)]

I felt creative and painted some plastic skins on the inside:

Marbled effect can be obtained by using sandpaper on the inside and then painting with a marker.

Extra skins are available now:
There are available 10 sets of three skins containing, one extra quebracho skin, one extra plastic skin and one slightly dark wood skin. At the moment I will not sell individual skins.

FAQ in progress:
- The weight of the unit is 110grams
- The Nickel plated ALU bodies are delayed
- The knurled bodies have minor cosmetic imperfections.
- Beam is the same as the Neoca BL, but brighter, due to the increased current.
- Light is one stage, twisty
- Paypal cash or credit card are OK
- Other payment methods aren't available
- Dimensions: diameter 26mm (1.02") x 62mm (2.45")

[ADDED 1/13/2006]

This is how Quebracho tans when exposed to light, it takes around 6 months from light to dark.

[ADDED 3/2/2006]
Thanks to all the people that bought a NEOCA Wood.

As I did in my previous build, I will offer a coupon in gratitude for your support (will post list here soon)

There are a few units left, and these will be sold via www.neoca.com.ar or you can contact me via PM here.

Price from now on will be slightly higher, I may open a new sales thread in the future.

Again, Thanks

Re: NEOCA WOOD For Sale NOW!

FINALY!!! Muuuuuuussssst ressssiiissst........ :)

They look great!! So they are available with or without knurling? [edit]oops I see that the knurled ones are delayed.
I looked all over for the weight of the brass ones. any stats?
[edit]Maybe the alluminium one is for me but the brass looks just right for color. Any anodized alumium ones on the horizon?
How about the beam? is it like my BL just brighter? I like the decision to go 750mA :)

Hello all, I can FINALLY post! After waiting a few days.

This light is classy. Does it have just one stage?

PAblo !!!

I am on your list since the first day for one NEOCA WOOD :)
I prefer a Nickel plated alu like I said in another thread ;)
I think I have the right for 15% off on this...but with your direct link it's not possible to do that ;)

Just let me know :) And please don't sell mine to another man ;) It was reserved since very long time ago ;)

For those of us who don't own any of the torches it's been compared to, what are the dimensions?

Re: NEOCA WOOD For Sale NOW!

Hello,

I would like the extra skin package with my light. Aleady sent PayPal for light
yesterday. Extra skin package was not mentioned at that time.
Thanks,
Ken

Re: NEOCA WOOD For Sale NOW!

PEU,

I noticed it said a refund for shipping would be sent back for skin set if you were ordering with flashlight. I sent PayPal for skins but there was no message box to say I was adding it to my Flashlight order from last night.
Thanks,
Ken

No longer can resist, paypal sent!

Is it possible to get the darker wood grain sleave instead of the lighter one?

Beautiful light.

Re: NEOCA WOOD For Sale NOW!

Hi Fringe, no need to ask for darker colors, quebracho tans with sunlight, so if you leave it in an illuminated shelf while not in use it will tan in less than 2 months, tomorrow I will post a picture with different levels of tanning.

I added an extra quebracho skin in the skin set for this very purpose, so the ones who purchase it can have a before and after sunbath skin :)

All paid units will ship tomorrow afternoon.

Thanks

Re: NEOCA WOOD For Sale NOW!

Cones: I updated the 1st post with buttons for coupon holders :)

Frenchy: a pic is worth a thousand words:

The answer with letters is: in a couple of minutes :)

Each unit and skin is protected by a styrofoam pipe and the envelope is bubble padded. The skins also have styrofoam pellets on the inside.
