Don't know about fishing and even if this has been discussed here before. But I found this article interesting.

Hmm... won't that also attract mosquitoes and other bugs? Thinking about UV lights in bug traps...

Bloodsucking insects aren't attracted to UV. Bug zappers seem to have declined in popularity once people realized that they kill just about every kind of insect except the ones that will bite.

Interesting. Got a link or anything on that? I knew it killed everything but thought that that included mosquitos also.

Huh... I didn't know that. Thanks! So I gather that mosquitoes are only attracted by the cardon dioxide that's exhaled by mammals.
