    This is kind of last minute, but I figure it would be nice to know who is who if we use HT's for communication. Anyone who is still in town and headed the the SHOT show with a HT, please post your call sign and first name.

    Why don't you set up a simplex freq. on 2 m with PL encode and decode so you guys can keep radios on and only hear each other, something simple like 147.555 simplex and Pl of 100. Just a thought, have fun.

    I brought a Icom IC-R2 RX only. Only one problem...It has Sigman's fingerprints all over it.

    I always bring my HF rig on the road, I have a beautiful setup for hotel rooms, always get a corner room on the top floor with a balcony and clamp a texas bug catcher to the iron raling and drop 30 or 40 feet of counterpoise, works great, just don't tell anybody, and bring your scanner, you want some laughs, listen to the hotel staff and security, quite a treat!!
