When I saw the fantastic www.lumaray.com flashlights, I fell in love with the design of the FL6 and FL12. The coolest part is when the light was turned off, the bulb sockets glow.

I bought some "white glow paint" from http://www.glowinc.com/ The white is still a little green in my opinion, and didn't seem to glow too brightly, but I think that is the nature of white glow paint.

I was thinking of testing it on my Maglite Solitaire since it is all beat up and I don't care much what happens to it. I want to paint the inner ring just above the lens. Anyone think it would be cool? Heck, I might touch up a varity of flashlights if this pans out.

Thoughts, comments?

That glow powder is pretty cool.

I seen the idea here some months ago, and did my Q3's and .5 watt Nuwai's.

Can use it on alot actually.

I mixxed mine in Epoxy and added as much powder as epoxy to get a good mix.
I also mixxed some in clear coat, again need a fairly thick mixture to be real good.

Have fun

Check Skylighter's (Glowinc) Glow in the dark projects and mods thread for lots and lots and lots (did I mention lots?) of glowing ideas.
