5 & 1
I have added a number 7 to the picture. I can't have the fat knurling like the body because I need a place to do the laser engraving. I don't want to put the laser engraving on the front Bezel part because I don't want any problems about infringing on any patents!
I have thought about milling the head like the tail cap but can't get in my mills right now to do it.
The front of the head will look similar to the picture but I need to thread the front the this head in the pictures and then a bezel will screw on the front. So the basic shape of the head will remain the same once the bezel is screwed on.

#1 or #2 because of their very clean and sleek design, not overdone with too much grooves or knurling, just nice and elegant. #7 if I wanted/needed grip on the head/bezel.

changing my vote to #7
Carrying a firearm for self-defense gives you great power. Society expects great responsibility from those with great power.
I revised number one. Instead of smooth I put some slots in really quick to make it look like the tail cap.

Change TrueBlue's choice.
A slotted #1 is my preference. #6 is a secondary.
Hey, that slotted #1 looks pretty cool.
After that, flip a coin between 6 and 7.
Slots look like a prime location for some tritium

#7 would be as good as my previous favorite, #6

#1 is sharp...definitely more pleasing to my eye than the other examples.
#1 is my preference. I like the symmetry and the clean look.
I'm being picky, but I'd like the slots a bit longer toward the bezel, so it's centered on the flat of the head. And maybe the slots a bit wider and/or deeper so they are similar in proportion to the look of the tail.
The slots would be cool filled with glow epoxy, or vials.
Nice job Chris!
1. best, then 5.
I was thinking the same thing about the glow epoxy. The slots in the head will be the same as the slots on the tail cap. Same depth and width.

Ok. Thanks for everyones feedback. I appreciate it. Now we shall just wait and see what the prototypes will look like. I can't have this go on for too long since my machine is just sitting idle waiting to run.

#1, the slots with glowpaint filled
NO. 1 does it for me![]()
.......
#1. It matches the tail nicely and would make a nice place for glowpaint.

if killing was legal, i would have killed countless number of people...
#1 with tritium vials.
I studied the pics before I read any responses, so I wouldn't be influenced... and I like #3 the best.
