Need some more help.

Are Pila's (new version) interchangeable with Wolf Eyes batteries?

I am considering buying the new Pila's and wondering if they will work ok in the Wolf Eyes M100X light.

Thanks!

Hello Zehnmm,

Physically, there are some differences. The Pila 600S cells are a bit fatter than the Wolf Eyes 168S cells, but this is being changed and the newer cells may end up the same size.

As far as capacity goes, the testing is still underway...

The new Pila cells are supposed to be higher capacity than the Wolf Eyes, but I am still in the middle of testing to see if there is a difference and how much it is.

Thanks Tom!

I am think of buying both a Wolf Eyes 12V light and a Pila 12V light, but do not wish to buy two different chargers and 2 different sets of batteries. The ideal thing would be to buy one or the other and use the batteries in both. (I really do not "need" either light, but rather want them...)

I already have AW's DSD charger with protected 17500's, but it appears that setup, including some 17670's that I have will not do the trick for some of the recent higher output incan lamps, as various posts have indicated.

I look forward to hearing about your tests.

Best regards,

Steve
