That is absolutely beautiful!

Orb,
You have truly out done yourself.
Will these be brighter then the Ns raws or the same?

mtbkndad: Same set up as the Ns, seems a little brighter. Must the shine from the Silver!
neodeemer: Uses the 14250 Li-ion as in the Raw Ns.

:thanks: Chaps

That is just beautiful! I really like how the hallmarks came out. I guess they are etched instead of stamped?

But the website indicates RCR2 cells. Now I'm confused! Help Rob!

The web site shows the old model.
The new model is even smaller.
That is why it uses the same batteries as the NS.

The tritium was available in the old style, but Orb told me it does not work in the new style. If I am wrong he can correct me.

My Ag Raw arrived safely a couple of days ago.
It's beauty is beyond description. It is simple yet refined, looks elegant yet feels solid. The halmarking is very subtle. While the original Ag Raw I ordered (that my Post Office gave to somebody else :hairpull: :hairpull: :hairpull: ) had green Tritium in it, I think the lack of Tritium in this one will make it easier to maintain and the design certainly does not seem to lack anything without it.

The beam is more like my U-binned Raws then my Raw NS.
While it is not as bright as the U-binned Raws the difference between the my Ag Raw and the Raw NS is noticeable.
It is brighter then the Raw NS with a more focused hotspot.

Rob, as I said before, you really outdid yourself with this one.

Take Care,
Daniel

Maybe it's me but I don't see a RAW ns in silver on the web site. I see the regular RAW but not special ns ??

Oops, never mind, I see it.

Rob, On your site you have a new slogan--"The Orb Raw has transformed into the Raw Ag." Does this mean the regular Raws (standard metal) are also going to be fazed out for the smaller body and battery size??

No, there are no plans to faze out the Original Raw, at last we have some stock!
The Slogan is a little wrong now, as the latest Silver Raws have been made in the Ns Style. These are going of to the Assay office for hallmarking next week.
So with in two weeks those waiting will have to wait no longer.
We only have 2 remaining from this 15 batch.
Once they are finished the web site will be updated. As will another exotic material Raw Ns Style Torch :sssh:

magnesium? mokume? damascus? palladium?

Does a correct guess guarantee a place in line?

Can't wait for the news, Rob.

Cheers,

Marc
