Just recieved my DSD charger and noticed something strange

Theres a bit of discoloring on the plastic, the other thing is - If I plug it in without a battery, the LED blinks red/green rapidly on the charger. Is this normal behavior or should I panic and remove the lithium battery in it (Unprotected...)

The LED on the DSD charger has 3 modes:

- red/green blinking ( standby )
- red ( charging )
- green ( fully charge )

Just checking, thanks AW - Also I noticed on the batterys the part number is - MP-CR123AW/1BE
Just noticed the AW part due to CPF
