Default Which bulb for 4C to 3D Mag Mod?

Is there a better/brighter bulb to use than the stock bulb that comes with the 3D Mag light when ding the 3d to 4C conversion?

    Thanks!

You can go to Radioshack and get an XPR103 Xenon bulb, but I'm not sure if it will make that much difference.

So there aren't any other bulbs to use with 4C batteries that produce a brighter light?

So if that's the case then are there any mods that can be done and still use the C batteries for a brighter light? I mean without going to a 9aa>3D type setup. I can get C batteries for free from work and really hate the idea of only 20 mins of runtime before a recharge with the rechargable type setups.

If you are using the bulb that came with the light you could buy the maglite mag-num-star bulb for a 3-cell light. They are brighter, whiter, and give a tighter hot spot with less artifacts.

Are there any B&M stores I can buy them at?

Also I just bought a 2C Maglite to do the 123 mod to. Is the 5 cell Mag bulb the way to go with those?

    Thanks!

They are sold at most high end stores that sell maglites. I am not sure what a B&M store is though I buy mine at orchard supply hardware for 4.00 per bulb. They are high pressure xenon bulb. Here is maglite's website for them http://www.maglite.com/product_acc.a...ELL&psc=4DCELL
