    Default firefly repair?

I have an original firefly that with an upgraded led, and the led has failed or something to that effect. I am looking for someone to replace the led or trouble shoot the problem. I have some SYOLW 3 WATT LED'S for replacement if anyone could help out. I would be happy to pay.

I haven't tried working on a FF yet, but I'll take a whack at it if you want.

    PM me if you want.

    Josh hi,
i'm not sure how good these led's are, I bought them from Elektrolumens2 years ago, and I don't recall how to decipher the designation on the led.

I'm not sure what type of LED's those are - bin codes are normally 4 digits. It would likely be worth your time getting new LED's - the technology has improved alot - photonfanatic had all sorts of good 3 watts available.

Does the LED light up at all? It's more likely that the sammie shorted out than the Luxeon just died.
