Yes, I am. Got all the movies, got all the books. Know a little of the history and background of the series and author. To your formula, you could also add great scenery/locations and good music. There are quite a few other components common to every Bond film as well.
And while somewhat like you, I would not want to see a movie like this every week, I don't mind an occasional diversion with a happy ending. Life often sux. I've picked Bond. They come out every couple of years or so. Not seen a Norris, Segal, or Diesel flick. They might be great, but I started reading the books when I was a kid and just kind of stayed with Bond. As always, the books are a little to somewhat different from the movies.
If you count all the Bond/Fleming films and videos, this will be the 3rd time the title "Casino Royale" has been used, breaking the tie with "Goldeneye" which was used twice. I'm not an expert, it's just been fun collecting this stuff.
