With specific reference to this thread:

A different but similar approach (for us Skill Level "0" modders): the Arc-LS has a completely flat end -- how about sanding off the HA and epoxying it to the other end of a bright incandescent with similar flat end cap?
What existing product would be a good candidate? At this moment of writing this I can't think of any...
Should be short, maybe also using one or two 123s for similar or matching O.D., with either twist on/off head or side button?
When finished I would slide on a short collar of heatshrink tubing between the two to clean up the look of the joint.
Any thoughts on this?
