    Talking A2 Lanyard Removal ???

    Hey Guys,

Is there any way of removing the lanyard (Plastic Ring)
on an A2 without breaking it??
I ordered some glow rings and that would an ideal spot
    for them.

    Thanks!

Given its popularity, SF really should include instructions or a diagram for this!

    Here ya go:

Glow ring! GLOW RING! Hadn't thought of that! My Milky L1's about to get a nifty little upgrade... thanks guys!

As for the lanyard ring removal... I admit not to have followed the posted links... but I assume the posts explained taking a small flat blade jeweler's screwdriver and gently wiggling into one of the ring's seams until the thing pops out, into two pieces? Showed some folks how to do it at PF5... think McGizmo is the person who told ME how to do it. You're right... why the heck doesn't SureFire help folks out in that regard, or at least ship the lights WITHOUT those rings attached so the buyer has a choice? Personally, those rings really bother me, get in the way when I'm twisting the tailswitch and get distracting...

Anyway, good jub gents, and THANKS!
