I received a Cabelas Bargain Hunter flyer yesterday and they have a Surefire Executive light on sale. Does any one know if this is a E1E. MSRP of $79.99 on sale for $49.99. It is a single cell 3 volt.

I haven't seen the flyer, but if it is an E1 light, that is a super deal.

Oh, and by the way , welcome to CPF GChase.

Any E-series lights are a great place to start your collecting from. You won't be dissapointed.:)

If it's 3V, it's the E1e.
The pic on that website is of an e2e, but all the other specs and options on the page are for the e1e.

$50 is a good price for an E1E. The pic is an E2E. I have never seen one that looks like that. Unusual bezel. Do not see a clip. Clickie or twisty switch?
Might just be a very out of date picture.

Cabala's has always been good on the phone with questions. Call them tomorrow if you have any detail questions.

Hi everone,
Just to help clear things up.
Thoes are the first e series lights.
They are the e1 and e2 with the round bodies
with monentary/twist on tail caps, they don't have the
the e after the 1 & 2.
The newest one's are e2e and e1e with click tail caps.
Hope this helps.

Yep what W4 said.

E1 series (E1 & E1e) use a single 3V 123 cell. I'm not even sure if they have the LOTC index mark.

The best use I've found for my E1e was to put a Surefire KL4 5watt LED head on it. You have this stubby little light that puts out the famous Surefire Wall of light. This is unoffically known as the TW4
