The Original Orb will be back for a short while.
The Orb is the one that has Orb Logo.

This will be the last time we offer this Original Orb with improvements.
Improvements include:
20mm XR as in Dons PD.
Rechargeable, 1 Protected 18500, 1500mAh 3.7 Volt Li-ion.
Optional Tritium Locator's Milled into body around the circumference.
We may offer up to 10 Vials around the diameter???
XR-E or Seoul LED.

In the mean time I am looking at a protective finish & some other options.
Original details can be found here: http://www.theorb.co.uk/theorb.php
The base price needs to be finalized but will be near to £49.95. $93.00.
These can be reserved now by saying you would like to purchase in this Thread.

Hey Rob,

No e-mail in my inbox, maybe a typo in your e-mail?

But, the answer, as always, is YES! on supplying the UW0Js.

And count me in for the new Orb also.

Rob - Of course not :naughty: You know me, I'm not pushy like that... :grin2: But since it seems you realize a final run of  Original Orbs just wouldn't feel complete without a few Ti's, well, yes, I would be honored to ask to be in that line. :D
Hope its a small line...

Well you got me thinking now Eric, the last time I sold the Orb Ti is was £200.
Well over a year ago. :ohgeez:
Funny when I first launched the Orb I offered them in Ti before Alu & hand made them myself . Times have changed a little & I have a very good CNC shop to produce my metal work these days.
I wonder if there's enough interest to do a New version of the Orb Ti?
New switch (which I have been working on for Orb Mk 2) Only clue is it's Repelling & totally water proof :sssh: Coupled with a PIC PWM circuit to do the variable light levels.
& some sexy new curvy flutes.
Price no doubt for a small 10 off run would be again around £200.
What have you started Mr Mack

:touche: I think you are trying to play a player, Rob :nana: But I'd be in, and I know of at least two others that likely would as well...May I hold a reservation for them as well? :grin2:

Rob, as your biggest US fan of the original Orb (owner of Orb, Orb Ti, and Orb Flik Proto), I would be delighted to have another Orb Ti, especially.

I would also love another regular Orb. However, I would like to request that it be similar in body style to the original, with no trit cut-outs on that sexy Orb body. :grin2:

I'd also like to request that the new Orbs be made with your integrated switch (you'll recall mine was the guinea pig for that experiment!), rather than the lanyard switch, for ease of use.

Yes you may sir, I'll start a interest list for both Alu Orb & Orb Ti in the 1st post.

Me old mate Phil showed up  Up for the list??
Its turned into a brainstorm thread thanks to Mr Mack, he does not believe me but the potential Orb Ti's may be all his fault
Ref Raw Da (Damascus) The material is on order I'll begin a new thread for Raw Da once the material is here (Approx 3-4 weeks). We should be able to get 10 out of the 1 meter of bar coming.
