That's a shotgun barrel, but it's cylindrical so it's not so far off what a flashlight in damascus might look like. I hope the raw da's turn out like that *drool*

I think the only time to see what the pattern looks like is when I get the material. It should be here end of this month.

I have a William Henry knife with a stainless damascus "raindrop pattern" similar to the bottom one shown on the posts above, it looks terriffic in real life. I've also owned it for over ten years and it takes no effort to maintain.

Rob said this light would be the same as the Raw NS & Ti versions so it will take the 14250 battery.

But I missed the sign up list!

These should be a neat looking light in the Damascus for those that made the list!

Its on its way. I guess next week it will be here.
We doubled up on the material so when it is here I will post a photo & there should be a bit more room on the list.

The Material is here, Two dirty horrible bars.
Or a couple of Thousand $$$$'s of beautiful hand crafted Damascus.

First try with a weak acid based solution with out hardening just to show the pattern:


It will be a few weeks before the CNC shop can load this small Run.
In the mean time I will practise the Hardening & Etching Process.
