I bought two of the SF E2, one for use and the other as backup. But when I compared it to the 6P, the E2 has a wider beam, less throw, and it looks like there is more than 5 lumen difference between the output. Looking at the 6P lamp vs the E2 reflector, the E2 is rougher than the 6P. I really prefer the size/looks of the E2. Has anyone ever carved out a 6P lamp to replace the E2 reflector for a tighter beam? I want to know before I get out the dremel.
