My first ever green laser from ebay was delivered today. Because it cost me a total of $27.50 -[$12.50+15.00 delivery charge] (US), I wasn't expecting very much. (sold as <5mw) The output looks strong -to me, at least.....
I noticed that you can just barely see the beam in total darkness. -I shot the beam across my 32' living room. (I don't have anything but a luxmeter to measure output) Does that sound about right?
Before posting, I read up on the green laser quite a bit but I still have a coupla questions for you laser gurus out there:
>1. Do all of the green lasers come on at a lower level of brightness (for say 1/4 sec.), and then ramp up to much brighter?
>2. Is it advisable for me to substitute Eveready L92 AAA lithiums (1.7V each), in place of the NiMH that I've been using?
Thanks in advance for any info or user advice.
