How is the grip on the Pacific. I find the Matterhorn head a bit too slick to reliably turn on/off one handed. Is this better with the Pacific?

The Pacific head is larger so much easier to grip. I use mine one handed with no issues.

It's fairly slick, but the threads are sooooooo smooth that it's pretty easy. There are some flats that help too.
