How do I get started?

Hi, I'm new to this forum. I'm interested in modding flashlights; in particular adding LEDs to lights. I would like to educate myself on this process. Is there a link or material I can read to acheive this? I enjoy reading this forum and have learned a little but I want more knowledge.

Welcome to CPF! There is an extensive guide on modding Mini Maglites which would serve as a fantastic start point for you. After that, you'll probably be ready to modify the instructions for use on other lights you've got laying around. http://candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=83903

Also look for the "SMJLED PR" LED replacement bulbs on the forums here.
