I am looking to do a few modifications to certain objects that I hav lying around.

A friend has given me an Intellimouse explorer, and I have measured the voltages across the two LEDs, one of which is 1.5V and one is 2V. Both are red. The 2V one must be very bright (a can remember a website saying over 5000mcd is good). I would like to put in green or blue LEDs.

I also have a Nokia 3210 with 12 0805 SMD LED's in it. I want these changed to red.

My problem is, where can I get suitable LEDs within the city I am living in (Perth, Western Australia). I also wouldn't mind knowing where to get my hands on a few Luxeon Stars

Thanks for your help,
Matt

Mouse LED mods - computer/hardware/overclocking websites will have info you need.

There's a place in Melbourne that sells replacement LED kits for many phones - I forgot the name or any other details sorry.

Alternatively Smith's **** or Jaycar will have loose LEDs.
