question to U2 owners

I just got my U2 manual out, and i noticed that in the front of the manual it says "revision A 11/1/04." So, what does your manual say in the front on the bottom? Serial # would be helpful too.

My manual is either the same or earlier. I got mine, S/N A041xx, in Nov, '04.

Does your manual claim 100 lumens, or just 80 lumens? I can't remember which, but either the box or the manual with mine claims 100 lumens. If your's says 80 lumens, then my manual is probably an earlier version. I'll try to remember to check it when I get home this evening.

Manual makes no claim on lumen rating. It does state that the light output exceeds the 60 lumen output of tungsten lamp lights(6p,C2,E2e,etc.)

The box says 2 to 100 variable lumen output

Manual is Revision N/C 12-1-2003

I don't know for sure, since I bought mine used.

I would bet Al (size15's) can tell you, since he has a prototype U2.
