It's time for another CPF lunch!!

Modamag and I picked a good pizza joint for a gathering in Santa Clara. (by El Camino & Lawrence)
I know it's short notice but if you can make it you'll get to see a few special lights.

Of course we'll have the Draco final prototype which we'll photograph along with some beamshots and others like ...

I have a new Luxogen 123 to show. It is nice(new o-ring pending)...

I would love to go to a lunch (especially pizza!). I work Monday-Thursday, so I don't know if I'll be able to make it. My boss would probably be fine with my taking a few hours off, since he's always making sure I've taken enough breaks.

There would likely be many more positive responses if it were on a weekend... hint, nudge, wink.

I don't meet very many flashaholics around here (at most, I know one guy who's pretty into lights), so meeting some fellow CPFers would be extremely cool.

Thursday I'll be in a kayak floating down the Truckee River. This is the second CPF lunch in a row I'm going to miss .

PaulB: Hope you got that new cheapie light you PM'd me about.

Tigerhawk: Hope you can make it

Lowbat: I'll hopfully get a lot of pictures for ya. And you get to see the Maxlite II on our hike next week!

From my experience with their Palo Alto location, Chicago Pizza makes really great pizza, top notch!

Yes! That's the one I knew of too.

We'll have more of them. Hopefully next time.

How's about dinner get together next time..... then we get to play with the lights afterwards..

How long do these lunches usually last? If I ask my boss for a long lunch, I'd like to have an estimate.

Of course, if it were Friday, I would be free, as might Brighteyez and LowBat.

Usually a couple of hours, but some have to leave earlier, and some stay longer. If you can make it at all, that would be great - even if you have to leave early.

I'll be there , but I'm afraid the only new lights I have since last time are the Bushnell 3w, the Gatlight V2, and the AE PL24-S. Of course I will bring the Orb NS, Fenix P1, and Ti Exolion (those are my current EDC lights) for those that haven't seen them.

Dunno if I can make it either. Being at least 30 minutes from Foster City where I work it would have to be a minimum of a 2 hour lunch for me. I'll talk to the boss and see if he will let me sneak out. If not have fun guys.

I told my boss I might want to have lunch out on Thursday. He said, "That's cool." I told him it might take a couple hours. He said, "That's cool."

So, what have I found that my boss is like? He's cool.

I don't have any high end lights (yet...), but can show people how bright Dae's 21-LED MEK's (similar to the Quake II) is when loaded with LIR batteries.

If anyone has the 2-stage 6 watt, or a Luxogen, I'd love to see those. Heck, even a SL Propolymer AA lux! I'm just a newbie...
