Is there a way I can get DD LUX V in a MiniMag? I need a way to mount the LED and sink the heat. Thanks

I've had one in my list for a long time: DB500, 2xAA li-ions, custom heatsink (in the works), McR20, UCL.
I'm thinking of figuring out how to get a heat sink

wow.. now if we have copper and willing to use 1xaa, we can use the space available to make the heatsink bigger
and who needs the twist off function? we will use a kroll tailcap to turn it off.
if killing was legal, i would have killed countless number of people...
I NEED the extra 3.7 V!
BTW: what was the original current draw of the Space Needle?
DD is not feasible with 2xLiON.. you can resistor or use an LDO or buck driver.. a nice example is here

Regulated hotwire 'the hotdriver' also for Surefire M6• 3-level high-power LED drop-in for mag. the 'BAM!' click here
I have disabled PMs.. use the 'email' link instead! • Genesis 1:3 And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light...

Rscanady, you putting it into a splash ano minimag, then?

That was a Txxx running @700-750ma NG iirc. The cu was about .4" thick, pressed in place.I have a LuxV on an old MM with a BB500ma driven from either 2Xaa or 1 li-ion aa or 14670 with an al sink pressed in it does not get very warm at all.
