Hello,

I'm currently using my work's power supply (AC --> DC).... and I really don't like it..... Its really old and doesn't allow me to adjust many things...

I'd like to get a power supply for testing/burning in but I'm unsure of good brands and such... I'd like to have a decent range of voltage/current and be able to fine tune to a decent amount...

Thanks for any help!

thanks to this forum, i found a REAL bench supply, it isnt very acurate, because it doesnt show many digits after the decimal point, but what do you expect from a cheapskate.
RSR HY3003
it was only 89$ + shipping, came out to a little over 100$, i could afford that.
there is also a 3002 also.

before i was using KIT voltage regulators, at 12$ each, driven by a home made 12V supply or car charger.
these kindsa things

and a pair of DMMs

as you can see a bench supply doesnt have to cost an arm and a leg, as long as your doing more art than science :)
