Maha C808M Charger ,too hot ?

just got my C808M and poped in the maha 2300 AA's that came with it.

i used the default charge rate (2 Ah) and checked the surface temp of the batteries beacuse it felt too hot to hold in my hands.

got 53 degrees celcius (127.4 fahrenheit) !!! is'nt it too hot ?
do you get these temps with your C808M ?

if this is the case i'm going to use the soft mode and the fast only with C's,D's or when really in a hurry .

Being that they are brand new cells, it's not uncommon!

anders ,i have read the review (greate review btw) .

i have also made a run of soft charging and its great , fast but no furious .

another thing that i like is the 'done' label you get when its done , being color blinded the red/green setup of other charges does'nt work for me (i cant tell the difference :) )

My cells, AAA, AA, C & D all stay cool in the "soft" mode. Only use the fast mode in an emergency because the cells will have a longer life in soft mode.
