OK, here is the official thread for the upcoming get together which will happen on Friday Sept. 8th, 2006, at 8PM, at the South Pavillion of the Bob Woodrooff Park in Plano .

I am planning to attend, but not guaranteed. One of the drawbacks to the water supply business is that, even though it will be my normal day off, an unexpected leak can kill all your plans with no notice.

Wish I could attend the gathering! As of right now, I don't think I'll be able to make it......depends on how well I respond to out-patient rehab! I've been in hospital from 11 May to 5 Aug!....Was unconcious for the first 4weeks....Kidney failure. Well on the road to recovery.....but as of right now my 5 month old kitten is stronger than I am!!!

Will correctly revised the nominal starting time -- 8:00pm. However, some of us fanatics will be there earlier :naughty:.

Anyone know if there is a lot of table space at the park? I may bring along a small folding table to put stuff on.

I'll bring my white Sprinter hightop cargo van and a folding table.
It's tall enough inside for most of us to stand up inside.
If the weather doesn't co-operate, we can just go inside my van to wait it out.

I'm still in as ever.
I will have a tub full of lights in the van. :wow:

Stephen, I just got back from a visit to the park. It's very nice. The pavilion (a good rain shelter) has way more tables than we'll need, 120vac power, restrooms, parking, and a lake. Lots of natural targets for those long reaching lights.

Address is 2601 San Gabriel, Plano. It's south of Parker Rd. abt. 3 mi. E of Central.

I figured I'd bring a large cooler with Cokes (regular & diet), Dr. Peppers (same) and water. I can't guarantee there'll be enuf for everyone since I don't have any idea how many will show up.

I will try to be there, I will bring my 12 volt powered intellipeak ICE charger.

I'm sure some one will forget or need a charger. It will charge most any thing, up to 10 cells And 1 up to 4 li-ion or li-po. DAVID
