Hello,

is this a older mobile spotlight for military actions? It should have a "nice" output, but for what did they use it for?

I'll bet every ex USAF person has intimate knowledge of those, they are for illuminating aircraft being worked on. Plane maintenance take place 24/7. They have recip engines to power the generators. They make nice places to get warm during the winter if you avoid the carbon monoxide poisoning, (yes one can get inside)
