G,day,

I am looking for a torch that is capable of using either 2 or 3 CR123A / 3.6V rechargeable batteries. I brought the batteries to use in another torch but found out the hard way that they were too strong. So now looking for a torch that I can use them in.

Any help will be appreciated

First off, don't use three rechargeable 123s in series. At the least you will kill one of the cells, at worst they might go bang.

Two rechargeable 123s on the other hand is pretty common. I would suggest either an SF G2 or 6P, and exchange the 6v bulb in them for the P90 9v bulb.

The two 3.6v batteries will run the P90 very well.

I just got a G90 HP lamp assembly. It rocks on 2 r123's. I got the whole kit from lighthound.
