I'm looking at those Giptilians with lustful eyes. I'd REALLY like a full size Skirmish but I'd be afraid to use/carry it for fear it would get damaged/stolen/confiscated by the cops. I live in the Soviet Socialist Republik of New Joisey so just about anything more dangerous than a nerf football is illegal to carry. So I'm looking at the Grippies. I'd like to find a black full size version but can't find it. The only ones I see are the combo edges and I want plain.

Can anyone recommend a good online vendor?

www.aeromedix.com for the Ritter RSK-1 griptilian, spend the extra $$$ you wont be sorry, the Ritter is my EDC replacing a Sebenza that cost almost 3x as much.

I DO really like that Doug Ritter. ALOT. Still might be a little pricey for me... but I'll consider it. Thanks for the links guys!

Newgraham. They ship the same day or next morning, and will actually answer the telephone if you call. Hard to beat prices too.

Last time I ordered from them was quite some time ago, but what I really appreciated about New Graham (apart from the great and speedy service) was that they included some bandaids in the package. Not only did I crack a smile when I saw them, but I also found a need for them minutes later (re: my alias on this forum).

PVK blows..

Have you had any problems with PVK? Was there a problem with their service?

PVK is..inconsistent..I've had them ship the wrong item to me twice, plus they take forever (it's a one man show, Josh runs), plus, they're a haven for cheap knock offs

Well I couldn't stand it anylonger. I just plopped down the $$$ for a Mini Griptilian Sheepsfoot version/plain edge/satin finish/black handle/154CM from New Graham. They have some pretty good prices. After I sell a gyroplane airframe I was building next week I do believe a full size Skirmish will appear at my doorstep. I should be satisfied then. Right?

No.

You need to get a full size Ritter. Best knife ever, next to my fixed blade custom Razel from Josh and John Graham.

Then you can work your way up to Carrillo, Reeve, Strider, among others. This "obssession" can get REALLY expensive!

This evening, I was showing some of my friends a couple of Microtechs in my possession, and now they're thinking of getting some.

Speaking of the Benchmade Skirmish, have you checked out the BM635-60?

Enjoy!

Yeah, that one is pretty crazy. I did see those Ritters' at Aeromedix and it was VERY tempting to pick one up. I've emptied my wallet for this week. Gotta wait till I sell some junk before I get anything else.
