Thread: Introducing the Fenix RAW

    Default Introducing the Fenix RAW

I stripped the annodizing of some L2T and L1T's and then finished with
a brushed finish. Then I slapped some UWAJ emitters in and ... tada!

Note the shiney brushed look compared to the ancient silver L1 (far right).
The finish reminds me of the original stainless steel Fenix L1+

Nice work! How do you strip the HA off?

Any idea why the LxP, LxT, and LxS don't come in HAIII natural? They look so much better silvery.

Are you selling those and how much?
Beamshots between stock and the UWAJ would also be nice.

I think the new LxS lights would look great raw. Since they come with a type II finish, it's not much of a loss.

How about the possibility of a clear anodise to make them a bit more hard-wearing?

First time I've heard of anyone swaping emmiters in LxTs. How hard was it? Does it help much in an underdriven light?

    Nice work by the way.
