My first Surefire

Hi Guys

I was lucky enough to get my hands on a well priced L2 in B/S/T.
I was wondering what accessories or mods are a must have with this light?
Also batts to run it on eg 14670 or 2 x RCR123 etc.

Any info would be much appreciated.

The only rechargables that will fit and work are 14760 cells. It'll run half an hour or so at max brightness. Not sure what runtime on low is, but reportedly the "low" is lower than with regular batteries.

Mods? Not much really. If you don't use the lanyard, at least get a few 5/8" glow-in-the-dark o-rings to fill the lanyard groove, and a 3/4" for the head.

You made an excellent choice for your first flashlight! I love my L2 and use a rechargable battery. I had John Willis make me a belt holster for mine that I really do like.

Yes GID rings are a good space filler. I wasn't sure if you could get Head, Bezel or tailcap replacments of a different kind.

For eg a tailcap assembly that would allow tail stand.
