Hi!

I'm about halfway through my trilux build for my bike, with almost all essential bits having arrived. However, for the last week I've been trying without success to source a Linear 1998 chip to stop me draining my battery pack completely. Can anyone suggest a good online shop to buy these from rather than pay the ridiculous shipping charges from Linear in Japan?

On another note, does anyone know why they are trying to play the Rider Cup in the tail of this hurricane?? I thought the idea of golf was to be able to see where the ball went.

Thanks!
Chris

Have you tried requesting samples from Linear Tech? I use them often for home and work.
They will sample 1 or 2 pieces of up to three different parts.
Go to www.Linear.com, search for LTC1998, and click Request Samples (under Order Now). You need to sign in, and I hope you live where they will ship to.

If this doesn't work, www.DigiKey.com has them in stock for $2.50 +s/h +min order.

Good luck!
