Living less then 20 miles from Boston USA, I was appalled that our airplanes could have been hijacked so easily and put to destructive use in the September 11 tragedy. In the aftermath, many nations have expressed condolences and prayers of sympathy and I think it is appreciated, but actions speak louder then words and Great Britain has come forth in a big way. From uses of intelligence to military support, England has proven by far to be the United States best friend and I personally am very humbled and appreciative. Perhaps some people don't realize but if I have read correctly, approximately 500 Great Britain citizens will killed in the Trade Center bombings.

Despite feeling very uncertain and afraid, I feel quite strongly that the free world will prevail and it will be led by these two great nations.
