I put some retroreflective sheeting on the inside of the pumpkin, with the retroreflectors facing out (away from the light inside). Now the pumpkin's features glow instead of just seeing the colored LEDs inside. It's much more visible this way, and the color changing feature is more dramatic.
The pics I took at 3 sec. exposure, and I had to use my inova X1 for lighting because the flash washed out the reflectors.
