...when people looking directly into your E2 for the first time they're expecting something as bright Mini-Maglite with half dead batteries and a bulb on it's last legs?

It amuses me when they turn it on shining in their eyes and say "That's bright!" Then look up and around the room chasing spots.

We're a cruel bunch to foist our Sure Fires, Pelicans, UKEs and Streamlights on an unsuspecting public without proper warning.

Most people have never seen a high output flashlight. Every time I show off the Legend LX or my E2 I get, "Cool! Is that a new MagLight?"....

(Yes I DO now own an E2 !!!)

As I've said before, if you really want to have some fun, hold the light in both hands (this is important - it doesn't look like you're pointing it at them) with the bezel pointed at the "victims" face in a non-threatening manner (waist height/chest height is good) and say "Hey, have you ever seen one of these?" They'll look right at it, guaranteed. Their downward glance is your queue to blast them!

(Don't try this on people you aren't acquainted with / bikers / cops / etc.)
