New Microfire K2000R here
Hi all,
I just received my k2000R (serial H20839) from powerleds. It arrived nicely packed, everything was ok. Here are my first observations:
1) the torch is well made, although I'm not positive on the durability of the anodization, time will tell.
2) the beam is quite nice, although more blue than the x990's. I don't have a lightmeter, but it puts out more light than the m6 hola and 10x together, and of course, the hotspot is much more concentrated.
3) you can adjust the focus, but the action is not smooth and if not properly done, you end up screwing the battery pack off !
4) runtime is quite on par with the advertisement: I obtained 48 mins before blackout. After 10-15 minutes, the light becomes very warm, but during the entire test I was able to hold it.
All in all, I'm quite satified with this torch, if you have any questions, please ask.
