upgrading from a C2(p-61) to a 9P(p91)?

I hesitate to buy a 9p...is it a good idea to buy a 9p(p91) considering that i already have a C2(p61)?

I need something very bright just for spotting(short burts) for walking in the wood.

Is it a good alternative to an M3? that i find a bit to expensive...

The TL3 is a cheap alternative for a 3 cell spotting light. Wolfeyes has some inexpensive offerings as well. If you want to play legos, just pick up an extender to turn your C2 into a 3 cell light: http://www.lighthound.com/sales/detonator_1_cell_extender_surefire_flashlights.htm

Is there someone with outdoor beamshots of a P-61 vs. P-91?

Greetings sylvain,

I have a 9P that I use for what you describe. The P91 is great for that job. I also have a KL3 and that works well also. If you get a beamshaper you can use it to light your way and then flip the cover for spotting. It's alot easier on the batteries in this configuration. I usually have a 9P strapped to my hip with a P91 and a 6P+A19+KL3+FM64 (beamshaper) in hand when night hiking. Plus a full spares carrier with a P90 LA in my pocket.
