Ok, that seems to mean that its a .68 ohm resistor, since the R47 is a .47 ohm one. If you stack a .47 ohm on top of it, I think it will make the overall resistance about .28 ohm. If you want to half the resistance of the resistor, you stack another of the same value in parallel on top of it. Its roughly adding the values together then dividing by 4, in this case. To calculate the equivalent resistance yourself (the total resistance offered to the flow of current) we invert the values and add them. Then we invert the result. (For a calculator,

What this would do to the drive level, exactly, i'm not sure. It will definately increase it.
