This is a review for the D-cell versions:

C-cells have about half the capacity of D-cells.
This means that the 2D gets about 26 hours to 25%, so the 2C should get somewhere around 13 hours to 25%.

Don't know for sure, but I'd guess around 8-10 hours to drop to 50% with alkaline batteries. Not sure what it would be with 4.5-5A NiMH batteries.
