Can I do this?

Pineapple body + KL4 head + some compatible tailcap + a 1X123 extender?

If I have understood correctly from other threads I will not see an increase in output from the extra battery, but will see more runtime.

Is it OK to do this with the KL4 head?

Also can anyone point me toward a 1X123 extender that will fit the Pineapple body?

If I remember correctly, KL4 accept 1 or 2 CR123 cell only.
If you use 3 CR123 cells in series, it will probably kill the KL4 circuit.

Kl1 in 3 cell will increase the run time, KL4 will die in 3 cell.

BladeDogg thats right 2 cr123a's in a KL4 for optimal output at 6volts MAX. Where as the KL1 can run at 9volts longer than at 6volts but you won't see anymore light output.
A KL1 can be run on 1 or 2 (Rechargeable) RCR123a's and the KL4 can only handle 1 rechargeable.

Can I do this?
