LED manufacurers have been busy

I have noticed that different LED manufacturers have been busy with different focuses:

Lumileds has been busy in making their LEDs more power hungry, while forgetting about their light emitting efficiency

Seoul Semiconductor (SSC) has been busy in making up exaggerated LED performance figures, while forgetting to make the figures consistent

CREE has been busy in making high efficiency LEDS, while forgetting to make the radiation pattern useable

Any comments?

Cree also forgot to produce their fitting optics

(I am sure Luxeon will put out their Cree-beater model, as soon as I have sold all my Lux optics and Reflectors and get cree ones and finishing the actual projects with crees)

By that time, some else would have something producing 3 times more light than a Luxeon. Looking at what they have done with their K2, they have been moving backward.
