Hello, CPF'ers!!
Happy hollidays to you all who larks around here and provide usefull information on everything.

I would like to abtain a AA/AAA charger and some cells to use on LED flashlights.:dedhorse::dedhorse: I have so far read thru "charger shootout" and misc other threads on new and older chargers any there are lots and lots of info there.

But too much info can be a bad thing.

Q: What is the better choice for me who started using rechargeable recently?

Costco has Duracell 15 minutes quick charger with a few AA and AAA cells included in a package for about $30 Verses
LaCrosse Technology BC-900 at amazon for $40?

What I'm warrying about is
LaCrosse Technology BC-900 may be to advance for me to use and possible melt down issue! Is there other issue that I may have missed on duracell fast charger also? Is the extra $ worth it on BC-900?

Regards.

If you are in a hurry and don't wish to wait then go with quick Duracell.
Otherwise go with BC900. If you only use rates from 500ma to 1000ma it is perfectly safe.

the 15 minute chargers can charge a 2100 in 15 minutes but higher cap will take a bit longer to be fully topped off. maybe look at the maha c9000 that is coming soon?
