Same thing just hopefully easier :) Now I will be able to slide a "D" sized body through the spindle so I can work on longer lights. Also no belt and gear changes for speeds and threading.

I just finished up a light last night. Hopefully the Duracoat comes out okay :)

Yes....Having a large diameter spindle hole is one of the most important and useful features of this size of lathe.

--- 1-5/8" spindle bore
--- Ball bearing steady/follow rests
--- 1364 lbs

I already see some crazy 4x17670 x2 Super Torch coming.
BTW: how r u gonna haul that 3/4 ton around?

Yes it's twice as heavy as my current machine :) No clue how I'm going to get it into my shed / workshop but I will. I may hire a tow truck with a boom.

I wanted the combo machine but instead of selling my old machine I'm going to keep it and keep it setup for tri-boring and milling.

This machine has the ideal 1 5/8 spindle bore for mags :)
