Is anyone using the Battery Station RCR123 900mah with a 3.6v Nano Charger?
I'm assuming the Nano will work fine with these. Does it give them a full charge?

Any experieces would be appreciated.

The Nano charger is a very simple (and slow) yet quite safe charger. It essentially acts as a constant voltage source of 4.25 volts with a current limiting resistor in series with the battery. So if you leave the battery in the charger, it will eventually reach 4.25 volts, but the indicator turns from red to green at about 4.1 volts. If the battery is left in the charger over night it will come off at about 4.25 volts.

Most RCR123 3.6 volt cells works just fine with the Nano charger.

I didn't know that about leaving the cell in the charger overnite...very useful, thanks Jan!

I just want to remind everyone that charging to 4.2 volts can limit your cycle life to around 300 cycles. If you go to 4.25 volts, it drops lower.

On the other hand, charging to 4.1 volts increases your cycle life to somewhere over 1500 cycles.

You have the option to do either, so manage your cycle life wisely...
