Surefire's new 300 weaponlight

Well there's now the 200A with the long throw and the 200B with the wider,room clearing throw. I heard reports from SHOT that SF was introducing a 300 which combined the distance and the wide throw in one light, and they were possibly using Crees. Anyone have any good info on this new light that is supposed to be coming out?

Yes, the X200A and X200B are current products and SureFire is getting their new X300 ready for release.
The X300 drives it's Cree harder than the KX5 does for output in the order of 160 lumens although final specs have not yet been determined. The beam is a blend of the A and the B but beats both. The significantly higher light output gives an intense central beam and the bright surround beam blows the X200A and X200B out of the water.

I've no idea when it'll be released but since it wasn't in the 2007 catalogs this suggests that SureFire aren't sure either.
