I have an opportunity to get either one of these lights. My aim is to have a compact single cell light with the maximum throw available.

I intend to use a RCR123 3.7 V protected cell in either light. (I have the hi-current ones)

I would use the WE D26 3.7 V lamp in the 3P.

So, which would be the better thrower and/or have the greater light output?

Cernobila, I have no idea but a good comparison of two different means to a similar end. If you find a Lumapower in Australia, I am more than happy to lend you a WE lamp or better still Lumens Factory lamp, so you can make a comparison.

I have some beamshots of the Lumens Factory D26 3.7V and WE in this thread if it helps (which it probably doesn't) https://www.candlepowerforums.com/threads/144248&page=6&pp=30
