There is no group deal. Not enough folks responded. I got a room for two at $80 per night. It's two miles fron OCCC. If you head towards Kissimmee, the rates go down to about $50-55. The OCCC is twenty minutes from there. Hopes this helps.

Faxed mine in this week, and spoke with the smiling voice at the outfit that is putting on the show. They said that the tickets will be mailed to us approximately 2 weeks prior to the show.

I sent in my VIP ticket from Arc on Dec. 31 and just received my confirmation via Email. Registered as "guest of show" and it was accepted.

Haven't gotten badges yet, but both myself and wife are going. Don't know which two days in a row we can attend yet(depends on wife getting which days off) Thursday-Friday or Friday-Saturday or Saturday-Sunday. Both got through the SHOT Show registration, but it looks like they tightened up the registration. Had to show company as Arcflashlights and job as quality control :-). Hope you don't mind Peter, but it would not take any other way. Merri has two VIP passes in the mail so should receive them Tuesday or so. Only plus factor on SHOT Show is they extended the $15.00 pre-registration until February 11th. Must be economy is a little slow in the business, so they are tempting more folks to consider going and those that probably decide at the last minute, so $15.00 instead of $50.00 is great.

I just registered for the Shot Show online. Didn't use any VIP pass or anything. I'll probably drive up and back the same day, not sure which day yet. I might stay one night if I can find a decent hotel room for a decent price that weekend. See you all there!

HEADS UP >> In case anyone is interested in getting a room and not too interested in the triple digit rates in Orlando, Econolodge and other similar hotels have listed rated in the $29 - $36 range, <plus taxes of about 12% and about $5 for any added folks staying in the same room>, IF you are willing to drive to Orlando from Kissimmee.

Hey,it's only about 20-30 minutes of city traffic away from what I've been told. Rates are listed on the their websites and hotel finder sites.

This flashlight show just happens to be in the same trade halls as the Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade Show but we seem to get along just fine.
